I recently completed the course Modelling with Differential Equations at RMIT.
I got pretty interested in harmonic oscillators during my mid-year holiday from uni so I made this video.
Please note that at ~1:25 I claimed that a pendulum's governing equation is for a simple harmonic oscillator. This is true at small angles only, because a simple harmonic oscillator moves in a linear fashion, and this is only approximately true where angles of \theta are small.
